Bharti Airtel and Zee5 Partner to Offer Content to Airtel Wifi Customers

5 months ago Indian Markets 2 Mins Read

Bharti Airtel, a leading Indian telecommunications company, has partnered with Zee5, a popular over-the-top (OTT) streaming platform, to provide Airtel Wifi customers with access to Zee5’s extensive content library. This strategic alliance aims to enhance the value proposition of Airtel’s broadband services by bundling entertainment content with its internet plans.

Airtel Wifi customers subscribed to plans starting at Rs. 699 will now have access to Zee5’s diverse offerings, including over 1,800 TV shows, a catalog of over 4,000 movies, and a wide array of popular web series across multiple languages, at no additional cost.

This partnership expands Airtel Wifi’s digital content portfolio, which already includes access to over 350 linear TV channels and 27 OTT platforms. 1

This move by Airtel is likely aimed at attracting and retaining customers in the increasingly competitive broadband market. By offering bundled content, Airtel seeks to differentiate its services and provide added value to its subscribers. For Zee5, this partnership provides access to a wider audience and the potential to increase its subscriber base.
